Nathan Wilkins is the owner and inspector of Highland Inspection Services. Ian brings a diverse skill set from his eight-year tenure as a security technician installer. With his Certified Professional Inspector certification through InterNACHI, and his Structural Pest Inspector’s License through WSDA, Ian brings a keen eye for pest issues and electrical systems, an area he’s particularly fascinated with due to its overlap with his previous role. Grounded in the South Seattle area and a resident of Tacoma for the last ten years, Ian’s local insight is an invaluable asset. Off duty, Ian enjoys exploring the trails and embracing his community spirit through his ministry work. His approach to home inspection is straightforward and client-centric, focusing on clear communication and thorough understanding to empower homeowners with the knowledge they need for their family’s future.

Kaes VanDoorne
Property Inspector
Kaes Vandoorne has been a licensed home inspector for over a year. Kaes grew up in Anchorage Alaska, and moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2012. In 2023, he got his home inspection license and worked as a freelance handyman before coming to Highland Inspection Services in 2024. He specializes in extra low crawl spaces, and makes sure to inspect every inch of the property to ensure the client’s receive a thorough inspection report.
Fun fact about Kaes: he may be the youngest inspector in Washington state! Don’t let that fool you! Kaes is extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of the home.
